Explore our interactive timeline below to view the history of U.S. Bridge.
The American Culvert Company
Herman and Ted Rogovin formed The American Culvert Company in 1936. It later became The Ohio Bridge Corporation in 1952. The company began engineering and manufacturing the first factory, all-welded steel component truss and beam bridges in the country. Customers included local governments, townships, counties and small towns.
Our founding fathers instilled upon us a certain set of beliefs that laid the foundation for the mission, vision and values that we live by today.
The power of the era
U.S. Bridge is Born
In 1987, to more accurately represent the growing presence throughout the country, the company became known as U.S. Bridge.
Creating a Strong Team
Behind every bridge we design and fabricate is a team of talented employees. We are always looking for individuals ready to pursue or enhance their careers. For more than 80 years, we have had a strong focus on providing our employees with the resources and experience needed to rise throughout the company and continue delivering the highest level of service in the industry. More than steel trusses, beams, decks, it is our people who make these bridges unique.
Our core values are at the heart of our business because they define who we are, how we work, what we believe in and what we stand for. Like the bridges we design and build, these values provide lasting support to our company culture.
Trust is the foundation for excellent teamwork and customer confidence.
Our employees, our customers and our partners expect to be treated with fairness and respect.
Our employees consistently make choices to rise above the situation or circumstances to do the right thing to achieve the desired result.
We can accomplish more working together than we can working alone.
We are a professional manufacturing and construction company, and the customer always comes first.
Our Commitment to You
We listen and work to understand your project needs in order to take the time to ensure every detail gets the attention it deserves.
