Strong and Long-lasting
This modified bow-string arch style is configured from a Pratt Truss using vertical end posts. It is similar to the Seneca style, with vertical members at every panel point which shrinks the floor beams and minimizes or eliminates stringer beams.
Our independent and truss mounted vehicular bridge guardrail options allow you to attach the railing system to various sections of the bridge superstructure depending on your needs and requirements. The truss design for this bridge is a welded or bolted Pratt truss configured in the Viking style as manufactured by U.S. Bridge. The trusses each have a continuous arched top chord, a single diagonal member in each truss panel, vertical end posts, and a vertical member at each interior bottom chord panel point. The bottom (tension) chord of each truss consists of two equal-sized members with adequate section properties to provide redundancy.
