U.S. Bridge provided a Cambridge Flat as a temporary replacement bridge in downtown Chicago. The truss design of the Cambridge Flat is a welded or bolted Warren truss that features a top chord with a polygonal shape. This design is also known as a camelback. Attractive and efficient, the Cambridge Flat is ideal for both city and country locales.
The Chicago Avenue bridge, a 104-year-old bascule bridge, is expected to get its permanent bridge in 2021. In the meantime, U.S. Bridge is proud to be a part of the Chicago Avenue bridge project connecting River North and River West.
